Car free Mürren lies on a sunny terrace opposite the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountain range (a UNESCO World Heritage site) in the heart of the Swiss Alps.
Directions by car
Check-in: 14:30 – 21:00 - in case you arrive later please let us know in advance.
If arriving earlier you may store your luggage at the reception.
Check-out: 7:30 – 10:30
- in case you arrive earlier or depart later you may store your luggage at the reception
From Interlaken you drive to Lauterbrunnen.
There are 2 parking options:
1) Parking Lauterbrunnen
Right before the train station the parking is on the left. Through the underground you can walk straight to the BLM station to go to Mürren.
The last train to Mürren from Lauterbrunnen runs at 7.38 pm, during the high season at 8.35 pm. The first one runs at 6.06 am.
Arrived in Mürren take the lower main street on the left, walk around the corner and after only 250 m you are already at our place.
The tickets you can buy right at the station.

2) Parking Stechelberg
Drive 5km further to the Schilthorn cable ways where the parking is.
The last cable car runs at 11.45 pm, Fridays & Saturdays at 00:45 am. The first one runs at 5.55 am.
Arrived in Mürren walk 700 m straight ahead along the main street and you find us on the right side.
The tickets you can buy right at the station.
Luggage trolleys are available at both station in Mürren if required.

Important information:
During the maintenance period the BLM train (Lauterbrunnen to Mürren via Grütschalp) will be closed and the only way to come up to Mürren is via the Schilthorn cable car from Stechelberg.

Directions by train
From Interlaken Ost you take the train to Lauterbrunnen.
Then there are 2 options:
1) In Lauterbrunnen cross the street to get to the Lauterbrunnen – Grütschalp - Mürren BLM station.
Arrived in Mürren take the main street on the left, walk straight ahead and after 250 m you are already at our place.
The last train from Lauterbrunnen to Mürren runs at 8.35 pm.
2) If arriving later you will have to take the bus from Lauterbrunnen to the Schilthorn cable car station in Stechelberg to come up to Mürren.
Once arrived in Mürren walk all straight ahead along the main street and after 700m you see us on the right side.
The latest gondola from Stechelberg to Mürren runs at 11.45 pm, Fridays & Saturdays at 00:45 am.
If possible we recommend you to come with the 1) connection which would be much more convenient for you

Important Information:
The BLM (Lauterbrunnen-Grütschalp-Mürren) will be closed due to maintenance
from May 1st - 31st May 2024.
During this period Mürren is only reachable via the Schilhorn cable car from Stechelberg.
By plane
Zurich Airport
There are direct trains from Zurich Airport to Interlaken Ost every two hours. There are also various other connections with changes in Bern to choose from.
Travel time: approximately two hours
Basel Airport
A bus will take you to Basel train station in about 15 minutes. Direct trains depart from Basel train station to Interlaken Ost five times a day. There are also various other connections with changes in Bern or Spiez to choose from.
Geneva Airport
There are various connections with changes in Bern to choose from.
Travel time: approximately three hours.
